Just a couple of locals…

We missed our daily post yesterday and now we have tons of pics to post!  We didn’t do a whole lot other than continue to explore around our neighbourhood, local parks and the nearby markets… although even exploring the local market here seems like an adventure in itself!

Since we’ve landed in India, we have discovered that our tourist visas expire in just a couple short weeks (apparently time starts ticking on your visa from the date it is issued rather than your India journey date so for once it was not smart to have applied for our visas so far in advance!), so unfortunately this means that our time in India has been cut dramatically short.  Soooo with the amazing support of our supervisors and clinical placement coordinators here as well as back home, we must now optimize the time we have left in India in terms of both putting in hours at the clinic as well as finding time to explore Delhi and its surrounding areas.  This week we hope to make several short trips each day to discover all that Delhi has to offer, then on Saturday we are doing a day trip to Agra to see the Taj Mahal, Red Fort, and Fatehpur Sikri!! So we’re very excited that we’ll still be able to squeeze that in – we can’t very well come all  the way to India and not get a glimpse of the Taj Mahal!

Anywho, we’ll update our schedule as we arrange new accommodations and new adventures – for now, we hope you enjoy our pics!

  1. We are also so thankful to your supervisors and clinical placement co-ordinators. Wow, what a surprising situation this is!
