The last few days have been a whirlwind of travels and new adventures as we said goodbye to our Thai island oasis and set out to explore the busy metropolis of Kuala Lumpur (or KL), Malaysia.

Sand Castles and Snorkelling
2 CommentsYesterday was another beautiful beach day that mostly consisted of eating and building sand castles. Today we decided to be a little bit more adventurous and hopped on our bicycles to try and conquer the windy and hilly road leading to to Salad Beach which is located on the Northwest end of the island. We brought our snorkel gear along and spent the afternoon scanning the coral reef for marine life. The visibility wasn’t very good today but we still got to see some interesting wildlife 🙂
Just a Couple of Beach Bums…
2 CommentsWe survived the Full Moon Party last night! We dressed in bright clothes, decorated ourselves in fluorescent paint, ate delicious street food, and drank out of a beach bucket as Full Moon Party-goers traditionally do! 🙂 We also enjoyed quite a bit of interesting people watching…
