Flying Through The Rainforest Like a Couple of Gibbons

Long time, no blog!

On Saturday evening we browsed through the Saturday market eating all the delicious street food we could 🙂  Then on Sunday we spent the day relaxing at the Orchid Hotel pool down the street from our guesthouse where we had the facilities all to ourselves!

On Monday, we went zip lining through the rainforest canopies for over 3 hours and approximately 5km of ziplines!  We decided to go with the Flight of the Gibbon tour company because of their excellent reputation in Chiang Mai – and they did not disappoint!  After our jungle adventure, we went to the tailor to get Adam a shnazy custom suit for cheapy cheapy and had a nice dinner.

Today, we visited Wat Phra That Doi Suthep which is one of the most famous temples in Thailand.  We have a relaxing evening ahead of us as we look forward to tomorrow’s elephant adventures at Patara Elephant Farm where we will get to be elephant owners for a day!!!!!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

  1. Ooooh, I remember all of those steps. Also got a suit tailored in Chiang Mai – warning: I did not fit in it very well upon resuming my Western diet at home :). Looks like quite a jungle up there in the trees! Keep having fun!

    • I remember looking at pictures of that temple on your blog when you travelled here 🙂

    • Haha I remember your suit saga very well! I weighed myself to make sure I was at a normal weight, but I’m still scared it won’t fit when I get home to my normal routine, fingers crossed I guess 😉
