India Firsts…

We have experienced a lot of India firsts these past couple days.  We experienced our first real day of placement seeing patients, our first monsoon rain and unfortunately our first GI infection.  The last 24 hours Amanda and I have been trading spots sleeping on the bed and expelling liquids every which way in the washroom.  Thankfully, we’re both slowly improving.  Hopefully, this will be our first and last experience with “Delhi Belly.”  We’ll keep everyone posted on how we’re doing, but hopefully we continue to improve.

  1. This isn’t exactly the best advertisement for Tourism India haha! Cool pic of the rain… thanks for not including a visual for “Delhi Belly” 🙂 Sounds quite challenging over there. Good luck with the placement, and more importantly, hope you both feel better soon!

  2. Hi Adam and Amanda – Hope you two are feeling better. We have been away but have been kept up to date on your journey. This is great we are receiving day by day things that you guys are up to. Grandma and I have been away, we were in Canton Ohio at our Yearly Meetings there, we arrived home last night, Amanda we took your Aunt Dee and Uncle Moe with us and we had a “ball”. Anyway keep your notes coming. God Bless.
Delhi Belly is not the best to have soooo soon. Take care of yourselves.

  5. Get well soon – nothing like having an gastrointestinal infection when you are far far away from home.
