After 14 hours on a plane, 3 terrible movies, and 14 JetLag pills, we finally touched down at Indira Ghandi Airport in Delhi to embark on our first hair-raising experience in a New Delhi taxi where those who honk loudest have the right of way. We were happy to make it to Ananda Bed & Breakfast unscathed where we were greeted by our friendly host, Pankaj. After a cup of tea, we got a tour of our new neighbourhood which is bustling with market places, parks, restaurants, corner stores, people, dogs, cows, birds, cars, more people, tuktuks, more cars, and more people.
And tomorrow we begin our first day of our clinical placement (after some much needed sleep)!

Wow, good for you guys! Looks like you’re already off to a great start, despite the sleep deprivation and jet lag. I can’t imagine a 14-hour flight! This will be such a neat experience for you both. I can’t wait to follow along π
P.S. The neighbourhood looks nice btw. Hopefully there’s less horn honking there than some of the other parts of “town” π
